About

Shiny Disco Ballz

We're a Two-Spirit transbian, and a plural of 3. If there's one thing we've learned, is to trust yourself, and trust the process. LOVE. KINDNESS. COMPASSION. Peace .Love. Unity. Respect.

We're Indigenous of mixed Kanienke:ha and Aln8ba descent. Mom's clan is is the old Cord from the Huron-Wendat, which got adopted into the Mohawk Bear Clan. We've traced our ancestry matrilineally, as per old tradition.

Our first Spirit name given/found was Kapitakushit Mahingan [Plain Cree, as the elder finding it was William Constant], which translates to "the sound of a wolf coming towards you".  For years we'd fixated on the "wolf" part, not realising the bigger implication of the phrase. Which is basically "vibration".

We've participated in different kinds of ceremony, including NACC-run halfmoon peyote meetings, Anishinaabe Thunderbird Sun Dance, and other cultural activities, including a drum carrier and pipe carrier. These and other activities such as music, playing games, with a focus on personal overall holistic growth, and aiding and caring for our fellow living beings.

We've been called a few things, such as "windigokaan", "elder", but only go by "helper", if anything. And probably other things, LOL.

Image is from a game called Guild Wars 2, of which we've been playing for over 9 years.

The love of music has stayed throughout life, having first listened to 'The Cure' obsessively as a teenager, and making mix tapes from the radio. Started going to clubs at 17, but had to stop for health reasons. We have a very eclectic music taste, ranging from sub-100 BPM to above 150+ BPM inclusive.

Along the way we found our culture, spirituality, and a way of life that precludes bullshit and drama. We are a shaman, an elder, and windigokaan agokwe, a transgender woman sacred clown.  We say this to be transparent, and not brag. It's not meant that way. Also a pipe carrier, knowledge keeper, and who knows, maybe a lodge or two in the future, lol. no clue :) .

We operate best in our flow, little to no planning [except adulting, ugh].

One of the things that we are doing is to bring back the sacredness of the clown's role in society. Bring back the balance that's sorely lacking in it. Too often clowns have been shunned because we're weird, and have great insight into things that can help humanity become a better version of itself.

Embrace your weirdness, it's beautiful, and you, and makes you unique. Even if you aren't weird, you're unique. We're of the VERY FIRM belief that we're on earth for our own time, to learn, to grow, to share in a physical existence, so the universe can also do that, through us. we see each other through the lenses of that oneness of consciousness. that love is what makes it possible. it is the fuel, and the engine of the universe, and binds everything together in a sacred dance of life.

Ourselves, we have a mission, and part of that is to balance things, because so many things need it.

That's why there's so many more clowns around than usual. To help restore the imbalances humans have caused.
